OR ... you can phone in sick ... and take the day exploring the northern part of this beautiful state of ours!!

I'm heading up to Klamath Falls for a couple of days before working this rallye. I'm looking for scenic, fun, twisty back roads ... any suggestions?

Today is the last day to enter, but we can bring on workers right up until the event, if anyone is still thinking about it.

I can't really take off early on Friday because my navi is working. We probably won't be up there until close to midnight. I hope there's still someone there that can check us in.

Pete, what's the total number of entries now?

we have 16 pre-registered, and I still expect maybe 1 or 2 more walk-ups.

If I'm not still up when you get there, don't sweat it, we have all morning for that stuff.

Glad to hear that too rich, I don't really have anything worth loaning you, just a couple of really bald tires you wouldn't want- even as spares.

Man....

I just finished working a long Saturday, and not enough people showed up at the winery to even justify my time.

I REALLY should be up there with you folk.

I hope everyone up there is having a blast, and I want you all to know that I'm fiercely jealous.

Next time, dammit,
Mike

Pete, I can't thank you enough. Thanks for putting on this spectacular event. Thanks for letting me borrow the tire on the second day so I could continue. And most importantly, thanks for making rally happen in NorCal. Without you, the rally scene up here would be abysmal.

It was great meeting all of the other rally guys, and it was great to see some familiar faces. Don't get down on yourself at all about the format Pete, I had a great time as did my navigator/co-driver. I really liked the format because it gave us noobie's a chance to have fun and still have a chance to do well.

I'll write up my own little adventure synopsis later tonight so you slackers can see what you missed.

This was by far, the BEST time I have ever had in an automobile.

Thanks again Pete. You kick ***!!!!
