On a 2.0L.

I cant decide on the vf22 or 18g. 91 octane performance wouldnt differ much but on a race gas map I think the bigger turbo would be much better. I dont think I would get the greddy one, too expensive.

Well now that FP can get 8cm housings again, there is nothing special about that greddy turbo at all. It looks like to me a TD05H-18G with an 8cm housing from Forced Performance is $1069.00. It's not an option via the website but it is if you call them.

On the 2.0L I would say get the best all around turbo you can (good spool without sacrificing top end and vice versa). IMO, that translates into an 18G. The VF39 would be the other, much cheaper, option I would consider. My buddy's Stage 4 WRX with VF39 would walk stock STi's like there was no tomorrow. And he only paid $300.00 for the turbo!

Thanks for the info!

Now Im all confused again I dont know whether to go with that or the vf22...FP18g is oil cooled but the 22 is oil and water.
