I never went to the Fairfield meets because I don't like driving all the way out there; personally I'd rather drive to UCKK...
You're in Lafayette again, so you're about as close to Concord as I am, if not closer!
If the Concord meets are going to be regular, and people show up, I will show...plus Marsh Creek road is around the corner!
I was at In & Out l/n in Pleasanton...I guess only NASIOC peepz meet out there, because I see no meets on i-Club in that area, and when there are meets out there, the turnout is small, like last night. I know, because I tried so hard to organize meets at my old restaurant (Celebrity's in Dublin) and rarely did anyone other than Gagan show up...and I had stripper waitresses and live hip hop and ish!
So I hope Concord KK picks up, because I'd rather meet there!
David<-------Wishes NASIOC was banned; there can only be one!

well you should try the fairfield meet out on the 22nd, there are a lot of people who show up, and its on a sunday afternoon so that makes it easier as well plus u meet new people out here b/c you rarely see our people out @ UCKK except for once in a while and u rarley see the bay area people @ the fairfield meet cuz its the same thing for them....either way I WILL be goign to concord meets regularly if they become big, maybe it should be once every 2 weeks, I am sure more people would come out if its once ever 2 weeks rather then once a week....atleast until it gets really big... which I do not foresee..

as for only the nasioc people meeting in pleasanton, I think its b/c it wasnt premoted right....there was no official thread about it on nasioc....just the original "gauging interest" thread...then one was posted on i-club later on, but it was only a few hours BEFORE the meet...generally people on the board like advance notice for meets so they can plan on being there...

I know, but I still want NASIOC banned, so that meets have greater turnout...since everyone is coming to primarily one site (sorry, no offense to BAIC.net & ClubWRX.net fellas)
plus I'm tired of reading in magazines about how Impreza.net/NASIOC is the only Subaru enthusiasts' portal (GRM, SCC, and the SCCA mag)
None of this schism ish woulda happened if there was a true business partnership in place, to prevent one partner (nick) from jacking the other (alex)....
Just my .02, since I've been part of 2 general partnerships.
I would have laughed if my GF (my former partner) told me I couldn't come in and run the restaurant anymore....I'd be like "Buy me out, ****!"

Not to diss the Solano County peepz, but I just don't like to go out there...I used to have to go out there all the time taking my GF's son to Pop Warner football along the I-80 (Fairfield, Antioch, River City, Vacaville, Davis, Dixon, etc.)
I just hope Concord picks up, and that we have group drives afterwards....

yea I also hate the fact that half the people are on nasioc and half are on here...there is definatly no(VERY little) bay area activity on clubwrx.net and almost no activity period on baic.net so I dont think those sites affect it...I think its more nasioc then anything else...ohh well we jus gotta make sure there are threads up @ both places...I do it for the solano meets all the time, but the majority of us spend more time here..

damn I just realized that this might not work for me
I get off work at 6:30 in vacaville and I will end up leaving @ around 6:45, then my carpool would drop me off to my house in lafayette (7:30) then I would drive out to concord right away...thats like 7:45 at the EARLIEST that I could be at the meet
