Bike Riders...

Anyone up for a good long ride?

www.konoctichallenge.com - Oct. 3rd - I'm already signed up for the 100k "Pedal the Puddle" - a great tour around the largest natural lake fully situated in the state of California. It would be nice to have other enthusiasts, both Subaru and bicycling, to participate with me.

http://www.astitourdevine.com/ - Oct. 17th - I participated last year, and am looking to gather a team together (5) and get a discount for the group. I'd like to participate in either the 50k or 100k ride. The 100 mile ride will take down all but the most experienced and well-built rider, so don't expect to sign up for that.

I'm not all that sure about the actual rides, but would be cool with local rides like skyline blvd, mt. diablo, or for the ambitious Mt. Hamilton for training....

There's also some easier riding out here in the Tri Valley like Mines Rd. to the branding iron, flynn road, and a mess of others

Be carefull out on thos roads! A close friends boss got killed on tassajara rd in dublin riding his bike. Really sad he was training for a triathalon and now he's dead. You deffinately can't put your faith in the people behind the wheel.
