The front lot that abuts 19th near McDonald's is usually pretty empty -- too far from the mall so fatasses that don't wanna walk to shop won't usually park there. I'm not talking about the lot that abuts Nordstrom's, Borders, and McD's, but the one that's in the far front corner that's just a lawn and a sidewalk away from 19th and a just fence and a sidewalk away from Winston Dr. It's a good spot for people to not only park and socialize before departure, but also a good for people that want breakfast or last minute supplies from Trader Joe's.

The upper lot is a pain because the ramps are bottlenecks that cause congestion, and the back lots are where security likes to slack off -- they'll probably harass us until we leave their lazy zone.

My 2 cents.

1.) It's HELLA hard to coordinate with another caravan -- that means they have to get up at the asscrack of dawn, and we get less "grace time" for our own organization.

2.) Stonestown is a good spot for Peninsula dwellers and San Franciscans since no one has to backtrack (at least not more than across town).

3.) Our caravan is more than likely enough to get broken at some point anyway, so why bother with more cars?

My 2 cents.
