It's cool. It takes time to really get the hang of your car. Besides... a gravel pit like Candlestick really separates the fast drivers from the not so fast drivers. :P

Practice, Practice

Nice to meet you and your girl...next time you will both have to drive. Like I said before, once the turbanator (gagan) rides along with you he'll show you where you can pick up time. I would like to ride along and watch your style, see if I can help, but we race at the same time.

If you need tools, setup advice etc......just ask, there are a bunch of i-clubbers who want to help get people started.

 

I watched the auto X at the goodguys and it was the first time I had seen it and it looks really cool. I may want to come out and watch and maybe give it a shot but my suspension kinda sucks. The wife thought it was cool too.

 

It's a great way to put your car on the limit with no fear of a smash...worst case scenario you hit a few cones. I can't tell you how many times I've been in a 720 spin with my hands in the air saying "Jesus take the wheel"..but it's less and less and your times tumble after a few months practice.

Come on down and your fellow i-clubbers will prep your car/tires/numbers/group etc.....we have all the tools you need....

Just look out for other subarus and we'll introduce you to the regulars.
