anyone out there going to willows for the rally school on june 10-11. i was going to go but i dont have a helmet and i think its too late to sign up because you have to mail the registration... any one go to it last year? can you just show up and register? just wandering .... hit me back

you can always go and register, you just gotta luck out and hope some people no-show. As for the helmets, the SCCA has loaner helmets that you can use during your run class. Atleast they do during the regular rally-x's. I wont be attending the 10/11 event, but I will be at the 24/25 event. I cant afford to go up twice in 2 weeks :-\

 

It only took 2 days for my registration to get to them from Fremont. They do have loaner helmets, but I'm thinking of getting one. Also might want to get a room for Friday/Saturday night depending if you want to drive up there very early.

 

I'll be there - got a room for both Friday and Saturday.

 

e-mail hoche or Skylar and let them know you want to attend, they'll let you know if there's any issues.

I'll be there Saturday helping teach co-drivers, but I left my rally tires up in Yreka so I won't be staying around for Sunday (probably heading back to Yreka)

 

whos running the rally school?

i went out to the rallyx in ridgecrest a while back and had a blast

 

Basically its the Rally-X group from SFR/SCCA, but we get a lot of support and assistance from CRS people that you probably met in Ridgecrest.

 

bump for the RallyX this weekend. I'll be heading up to help out with the school Saturday and then race on Sunday. We still have open slots for the Sunday event.
