Ha its not even about modded cars out there - most residents just don't speed ever, so any car doing anything wrong will get pulled over, hated living out there

I want to finish for personal and financial reasons. LOL. In my career work definitely speaks volumes but it is a HIGHLY saturated work force. If I end up unemployed again I want more than a good portfolio to help me find work. That and choosing to stay in this field was a tough choice for me and part of that decision was that I would be able to advance. For me that basically leaves Art/Creative Director. My skill set leans that way anyways. I can pretty much help just about every design I come across a little bit. (not be self inflated because my personal designs can and are often improved by others) It's the nature of the game. And I do well helping/leading others. A degree with my experience would put me right there. The financial side is that lead designers make $45-60k in my area $45-80 in the SF Bay area. Art directors are more like $70-130k in the SF Bay area.

I don't want to be a 50 year old lead designer/production artist.

Plus... I like to learn.

I'd really like to have a communications minor and do some specialized work in illustration.

Blah blah blah. LOL!

But honestly... I think I want to get my wife through school first. She stands to make the larger quicker advancement. She's an MA. She gets her BSN and she stands to instantly double her income. Instantly.

Would be nice to pull in an extra 40k a year starting. LOL.

When I was going through my design program it was 25 hours a week plus project/home work time. And I had 2 jobs, no car and no license. I road my bike EVERYWHERE. Talking 200-250 miles a week depending on my hours an days of work.

I talked to this young cat that owned a bagel shop back when I was in school. Dude took 27 credits a semester and worked full time if I remember correctly. Graduated in like 2.5 years or some ****. Got his masters in the time most folks get a BA. Hence him being financially well off and a chain business owner when he was like 28. LOL!
