We host non-make specific open track days. Low car counts, only two run groups (try that NASA!), excellent instruction and lots and lots of track time.
We specialize in developing first time drivers into accomplished track day stars. YPTD has run these events for eight years and we have never had car-to-car contact. Of course we always have our fast Subarus and our cars typically range from rental to racers. Take a look at the beautifull '69 Lola T-160 can am that showed up for our May event for testing.
The Lola is an exception, but the point is we offer a place and the tools to learn to drive fast in a safe environment. 85% of our guest re-register and our events always sell out. See you in October.

So does Intro to HPDE: $110.00 mean i will get the same amount of driving as the "beginner $350" guys?
Sounds like a stupid question but "an instructor" next to you, not actually driving right? i just cant believe $110 getting you into a real track day...but sign me up if so.
And $350 is the price for Laguna Seca right? not Thunderhill...or is it?

We have added a new group to our event called "Intro to HPDE" (High Performance Driver Education) This is a great way to Acclimate yourself to a TrackDay. There is so much to absorb on your first day and this group will get you ready! First, attend our important drivers meeting, then get on track with your car for a 25 minute- 35 MPH "learn the line" session, attend all of our informative download sessions, enjoy lunch, then get on track at speed with an instructor driving! This group is limited to 10 drivers, so hurry, e-mail me today.

Car counts at this event will be 25 or less per group. We don’t ‘pack the track’, and we will continue to provide you full service events! This event is now open for registration. The following events are not open for registration yet, but will be soon! We’re putting together dicounted ‘TrackPacks’ for most, so if you want to save some money at the track in 2009, you may want to take advantage of our ‘TrackPacks’ or our ‘Season Pass’. Stay tuned for more details on each.
