I was watching one of my favorite tv shows on the SPIKE TV "power block" and they had a comercial for those ecu re-programers called "superchips". They said by entering in a few yes/no answers you could up your horsepower/ torque change your redlimit and topspeed limiter "at the touch of a button".

I'm wondering if anybody has tried one of these for their legacy, I went on the superchips web page to find one but they only had tuners for the WRX. I couldn't fine one compatable with my '01 2.5l N/A. Legacy.

Has anyone found another way to do the above mentioned changes to their car? I at least want to get my speed limiter removed or adjusted.

Any help would be cool.

Save your money.......

On a WRX, this "remapped ecu" was nothing more than a new boost controller and fuel cut defencer...hardly state of the art (HKS was doing this sorta thing about 13 years ago, so by that math, maybe in 2017 Superchips will be doing some neat things for Subaus
