EJ25D into 93 legacy
Would is be possible (or easy) to stick a EJ25D engine from a 99 legacy GT into a 93 legacy???
What about the transmission???
would the shocks be easy to transfer? brakes? rotors? leather seats?
info on cars:
(Wreaked) 99 subaru legacy GT limited (leather seats, 2.5L, manual, AWD)
93 subaru legacy L (2.2L na, Auto, Frount Wheel Drive)
Thank you for any information.

Yes, you can swap the 2.5 in there. Tranny too. The engine will either need a bit of wiring work to run off of the 2.5 ecu, or perhaps a bit less work to run off of the 2.2 ecu. The tranny wil need the rear diff, axle, etc. too. Brakes should swap just fine. Struts, dont know, leather seats, dont know either.

If the 99 has like 40k miles on it while the 93 has like 200k, it makes perfect sense to swap parts.
You can leave the 2wd tranny. Just dont expect it to last too long.
