alternator question

alternator question

I read in a mitsubishi technical spec today that said when they switched to obd2 all alternator voltage regulation was handled by the ECU.

Did subaru follow the same path?

As far as I know most newer cars don't use voltage regulators anymore. It's all ECU or PCM controlled. So I'd imagine this includes Subaru too.
