Suspension is toast. Want to take Outback susp. to GT type.
I have a '97 Outback...or rather, my wife does. Her struts (springs too, maybe) are done. I really liked the stock suspension that was on my '99 2.5GT (so did she) and she'd like to get that put on.
Thing is...there's not a lot of information out there as to what I need to accomplish this. I realize there's a difference between the struts, but is there a difference between the springs (I know sedan and wagon are different)? Did the GT get specific springs/struts or will any other 4WD w/ ABS wagon struts/springs work? I was kind thinking GR2 struts for a wagon and try to get some used GT wagon springs...? Or maybe get Outback struts but also get Eibach lowering springs to bring it down to "stock" height...?
Any ideas? Anyone been here, done this?
