Increasing the cooling system's pressure raises the boiling point of the coolant.
Have you recently boiled the coolant in your car? If not, save you're money.
If you have, you better do it right and replace all of the hoses; Upper & lower radiator, both heater hoses, and any other hose that carries coolant.
If you don't, you're asking for trouble. The higher pressure & heat could stress the old hoses, resulting in failure.
