I would like to buy a new 2015 subaru legacy 3.6 r limited.
But I am very concerned with the complaints regarding high oil consumption. I consider a quart for every 1200 miles unacceptable and at $8 to $10 a quart, expensive.Although subaru considers it normal!
I know the latest years legacy and the 3.6 engine are not mentioned in the possible class action suit against subaru. I am concerned about my up coming purchase.
Does anyone have information or experience with this problem. Any help is appreciated.

Well not all suburus consume this much oil but it is a turbocharged car, and I believe the stock turbo is a bushing type so consumption is going to happen.
