So I totaled my corolla during the winter and was able to pick up a 99 legacy 2.5GT with 86k miles. I never did anything aftermarket with my corolla and am thinking this is a good time to start. I was wondering what would be the most beneficial mods in regards to performance. I believe its an EJ25, isn't that the same one thats in the wrx sti? Would anything be transferable from one car to mine? Would I need to do lots of engine bay mods? Thoughts? Comments? To start I was thinking of a new intake, header, exhaust system. Thanks guys

no its not the same the wrx/sti came with the ej22 or ej20 the legacy and the impreza/ 2.5rs are the same and share alot of the same parts they came with the ej25 so some parts are interchangeable like headers and springs, but not body parts enless you want to do some major mods check out www.sl-i.net there is a hole bunch of us bd/bg guys there
