legacy upgrade, best bang for your buck.

Hi everyone, i was wondering what is the best horsepower booster for a 1997 legacy GT 2.5 (auto sadly), As of now i have a KN filter but that is about it *installed before i bought the car* any help would be great, want my wife to have atleast a fighting chance at an autocross seeing as how she is running an auto.
Thanks,
Troy-

Replace the stock struts with KYB AGX and get some new top mounts. Your stock springs should be fine, and they're a higher rate on the GT anyways.

Tires would also help a lot for times on the auto-x course.

This one costs no money: learn to left foot brake.

As far as auto-x is concerned, i would'nt be so worried about making more power, but handling and harnessing the power on hand, and suspension and tyres would be a better "bang for the buck" mod in that situation.
oh DLC: +1 on that left foot braking is def. your friend
