Just got the last 5spd manual SW in CA
I found the last 5spd manual Legacy GT wagon in California. I searched subarus web site. It showed El Cajon as the only place in the state that had a manual gt wagon and we all know that you cant get a manual in the '06 GT wagon. I drove 120 mi from LA to El Cajon. It took 2hr but I got a Gt limited that MRSP fro about $32K for $25k. I traded in my '04 WRX wagon on the Subaru GTP program. They said they would give me $15,750 sight unseen for a car I owed $15k on. So what the hell. I had to pull my sound system out the car, and all the rest of the mods. It was worth it. Man I love this car. I though my WRX was the "bees knees" but, this car is even better. The radio is lightyears ahead of my WRX and refinement is top notch. Subaru makes some amazing car and alot of people are sleeping on the Legacy. It's alittle soft in the corners and new sway bars will fix that. After I get the handling where I want it it's on the motor mods. Goodbye dear WRX , hello legacy.

Car Info: 2005 Legacy GT, stock for now
I just purchased my first Subaru, an 05 Legacy GT with the 5sp tranny. I absolutely love this car. I traded in my Saab 9-3 for it, after driving the Legacy I'm not sure how Saab can even justify their insane prices. Well good luck with the Wagon, I would've prefered the Wagon but couldn't find one with the 5sp.

Sweet deal. I would consider trading in my 02 wagon...but the negative equity would eat me alive, plus I have no OEM parts to replace the turbo, exhaust, etc with.
What color did you get?
