I know in the BDSM world a lot of times a "subbie" is is a term for the submission person in a dom/sub relationship. :-P

Thats very interesting. I notice the studdering problem as well, but I didn't think it was a big problem.

I guess it would be easier to get it fixed now

Either that or I'll just get the reflash as planned. That is supposed to fix it.

But the Legacy ECM is not interchangable with any of the STi ECM's...it physically will not plug in.

Hmmm, just checked in Subarunet, no ECM Revisions listed for any 2005 Legacy yet.

Is that an accurate description?

Any thoughts? GTJarret?
Its a known issue, it seems to do it more in the cold. A lot of users are finding that reflashing their ECU fixes the problem. I don't quite know if Subaru has a fix yet, but there are other aftermarket ECU flashing routes (ECUtek and Cobb AccessPort are the best). Besides getting rid of this problem, it will also give you a few more horsies under the hood.
