First of all, you should probably ditch the weapon R intake and put all the factory stuff back in. While it may make your car sound "cooler", 9 times out of 10 it's hurting your performance. I'd just get a K&N drop in panel filter and call it a day. Maybe remove the snorkel inside the fender well if it's present. There are a lot more Legacy folks over at Nasioc, and I'm sure they'd be more than willing to provide some additional information.

Cobb makes a good package but its expensive, around 1k if not more for the full exhaust setup. Borla makes a cheap alternative for the legacy and I think it would cost around 600-700 bucks for a full exhaust.

A tranny swap would run you around 3-4k, plus installing it, unless you can find someone who will sell it to you cheap. I am not to knowledgeable about what it would take.

In the suspension department, I would look into getting new sway bars and new springs and thats about it.

Just so that you know, you can put in a wrx engine into your car for around 7-8k. Might be a cheaper way in getting better power, or another alternative for you to consider.
