I think I speak for many who can't find a decent catback exhaust for their mid 90's NA Legacy. I really want to know if an Impreza catback can fit on a legacy. I see a catback exhaust by Stromung on boxer4racing.com that says it fits Impreza 93-up and Legacy 95-1999, Forester 98-up. If this is true, why can't a Borla catback for 1993-2001 fit a '96 legacy gt. I'm stumped, so if anyone has any light to shed on this problem, please do. Someone who has fitted an exhaust made for an impreza on a legacy would be appreciated most. Thanks in advance.

 

The Legacy is longer than the Impreza, so the midpipe length is different. If you're considering buying something, you'll have a hard time finding something that will fit. Call boxer4racing or email them to confirm whether or not it's a Legacy application.

I'd recommend a custom setup be built, it's usually very competitive on price.
