The car isnt going to be a true B4 as in the 2.0 litre engine w twin turbos. It is supposed to be the 2.5 litre engine with a single turbo. about 10 less horse power but more tourque. from what i read they also plan to use the the 3.0 litre engine a little later.

Remember Everyone! The US version is 99.8% not going to be called the "B4", rather will be under a different badge This is from a reliable Legacy source! Those who know him, know him as shirokuma But still, uber fast Legacy! woohoo!

B was Boxer and
4 was 4cylinder.
Not all the B4 is twin turbo so I doubt B stands for Bi turbo... but there is really no answer for this..
B4 has 2.0NA, 2.5NA, 3.0NA, and 2.0 twinturbo
mmm Shirokuma... if he says it's not gonna be called B4 then probably it's not....
but I like the name B4 rather than GT or something like that.

1) We are getting the same Legacy here in 2004 (2005 model) that is out this May in Japan (2004 model there).
2)It will have larger brakes 3) 17 inch Wheels with Bridgestone Potenzas 4) A minor facelift 5) a 2.5 engine with a single turbo at ~270 HP 6) It will sell for ~$30,000. 7) Same suspension setup, although it will be tuned more stiffly. 8) Two transissions, either a 5 speed manual or a manumatic auto. That's all it says, but if you are like me, you will have to go buy the magazine yourself to be sure it is true. Also, it does not say if it will be out in a wagon also.

I got a Legacy the same time I got the WRX and while the WRX gets more time from me I have been finding myself more and more inspired by my Legacy. Seeing that add really got me excited. Its about time Subaru started showing its true potentila to more than soccer moms. (no offence mom). Im getting tired of seeing Accords and Maximas everywhere. I think I said it before, but t looks like it may be time to start saving again.
