ANY bodykits for a 97 legacy
hey ppl,
My friend has a 97 legacy and we cant find any bodykits for it. i was just wondering if they even make any?

in the US, yeah i think there are a few but good luck finding any. front bumpers for the '95-'96 Nissan 240 SX will fit with a bit of work, but for the most part the major body kit manufacturers don't touch our cars here. i have yet to see a rear bumper, or side skirts from another car that will work on our cars.
in Japan, that's a different story. the BD/BG Legacy was very popular while it was in production, and still has a pretty good following. body kits abound, but be prepared to pay a crap load for them (not to mention shipping, which could take up to a month since it has to go through Customs!).
the only real option your friend might have, aside from the 240SX bumpers, is to get a front bumper from a GT model (assuming he doesn't have that one already) or an Outback and just graft it on. the GT bumper should fit okay (might require a bit of trimming if he has the wrong bumper support), but i think the Outback bumper would require a bit more work.

him matey, look on a website for a company called hippo sleek, or check out sales@takakaira.co.jp most japanese webites have lots of carbon bonnets and all that kind of stuff...enjoy!!
