92 Legacy Turbo resources?
Looking for some good resources on the early EJ22T. Even some slightly more than basic information would be nice like:
1. What turbo is on the motor?
2. What're the tranny codes for the auto and stick?
3. How easy is it to swap the auto to a stick?
If you havent guessed it by now, i'm considering buying one of these bad boys, but i'd like a bit more information on whats going to be pulling my car around the sound
.
Peace
Brett

Come over to http://bbs.legacycentral.org/ for better info on the bc/bf legacys'.
The EJ22T came with both the VF10 and the VF11. IIRC the VF10 was on the 4eat and the VF11 was on the 5mt.

I swapped our shop runner ( Legacy turbo wagon ) from auto to 5spd, its not THAT hard to do, mechanically its simple, there is some wiring you have to do in order to have the key work etc.
If you choose to do the conversion and use a turbo legacy 5spd then be prepared to pay a bit for the trans as they are hard to find. Any 5spd will fit tho, as long as the gear ratio's are right in the rear end or you get the rear and with it. Otherwise you will need a driveline ( the manual trans is shorter ) and linkages etc.
hope that helps.

The Winestone color is, in my opinion, the best color that SOA has ever had on their cars, and i've only seen two of them.
S-Squared: i've done the swap on my wagon, but kinda shied away from the wiring other than the AT -> MT snip. What did you end up doing for the Neutral and Reverse wiring and Cruise?
