Does the black WRX in 02-03 has some sort of blue shade in it, it looks like black from far, but it looks actually like dark navy blue under the light? And there is only one black right?

BTW are there any leather seats available for the WRX as OEM optional upgrade, or are they aftermarket custom made?

 

02-03 was Midnight Black Pearl (MBP), and yes it has a bit of blueish tint to it. It was the only black available for this generation. 04+ changed to Java Black Pearl (JBP), which had shades of gold and brown within the black.

There were no OEM leather upgrades, but I've seen several examples of aftermarket leather seats. Just a word of warning: if you're going to drive the WRX hard or take it to the tracks/autocross, your butt is probably going to slip around in a leather upholstered stock seat, which will end up being VERY uncomfortable.
