window squeak?

I had that problem during the first year that I owned my 2002 WRX. I read alot about it on the forums and found that its just basically normal on 2002 WRX's especially with 4EAT's since we brake alot. Something with the brake pad choice that was causing the scoring. Like what alot of forums said, it would and did go away after 10k miles.

I had the same squeak in my drivers side window. At the same time, I also had an issue with wind noise. I had the dealership take care of both when I went in for an oil change.
They took care of both problems under warranty, so I would take it in, and have them fix the problem. I know that they changed a grommett fix the wind noise.
As for the squeak, I know they put some kind of lubricant on the window, as I had some greasy film on the front edge of my window.
