why debadge?

I don't mind having the SUBARU on since my car is silver. If it's a different color like black or blue, I would debadge it.

I'm about to debadge my MY01 RS because I'm on my second set of letters, and they're as badly corroded as the first ones were when I got them replaced under warranty.

I regularly hose my car off during the winter, so it can't be a salt thing. Whatever chroming they use on the plastic, it's crap.

Everything is coming off the butt. I'm torn about the RS logo, but it's pretty badly pitted as well. I may just replace it with a swoosh decal, or have a local sign shop cut me a "2.5RS" decal to put there.

both my '00 RS and my '02 WRX are debadged. it just looks a lot cleaner.

i'm sure there's someone out there with a debadged GC that can send you a pic. if not pm me and i'll take a pic of mine and send it to you.

I just debadged. . . .i love how sweet the back end of my 03 WRX looks. Don't get me wrong I love Subarus and I love WRX's . . . as a matter of fact, this week I pick up my personalized plates *WRX RUSH* but the car just looks like a sleek beauty without all the letters on it. At first you feel regret then you look at the car as a whole (minus the lettering) and it is HOT !

I debadged because I got tired of children in mustangs with lot of APC bolt ons trying to race me at the lights. A wagon, a child seat in the back, no badges, and a big *** turbo = ultimate sleeper.
