Why do so many people who own a 06/07 WRX want to swap taillights with 04/05 model WRX's???
Is is purely for looks or is there some sort of benefit to the swap??

I dunno. I have a wagon so i never looked into it but that is a good question. I like my lights on my wag though. Maybe they are the same but they look different shape.

I LOVE the look of the 04-05 tails especially with the JDM mod... it is purely for looks... I am just bummed because the tails in question are for sedan and I am a wagon guy...

this made me laugh really loud at work, got in trouble but made my day. Its pretty much ppl who think that the crome is to rice. I have seen some ppl do red overlays but it doesnt look as good as the oem 04-05's Plus that jdm mod looks pretty damn sweet. Wish wagons could do it.
check out the red overlays for the brake portion for the new hatches (08-09). so sex

...the 06s are pretty clean IMO, the 07s however are a bit too much late90s civic.
