I got an HKS type 1 turbo timer for christmas (and still haven't installed it)... trying to figure out where to put it...
two places I've been thinking about are: inside the fuse pannel to the left of the steering column (just like the clock from the "clock and gauges too" mod on scoobymods) or were the ash tray is front and bottom of the center console.
if people could post pics of where they put theirs that would be a great help THANKS!

I also have a blitz mounted to the left of the cup holder. Here is a pic. I set it on warning(red) so you could see it because my digital camera sucks!

i wanted to put mine above the steering column. but the stupid parking light switch gets in the way. im planning on relocating it next to the cruise control switch. i already put a toggle switch in place. (it looks tite!) if only somebody could post the directions on how to do that ill be happy.

here's what you do:
get some wire splicers... some extra wire and a parking light button that fits nice with the ones on the side
install the button and run the wires up the stearing column. splice them in and take out the button at the top of the stearing column. VIOLA... you'll have a big hole but if you're gonna cover it with the timer anyway
I've never given that button a good look so I dont know if there something more complicated involved with removing it, but I can't imagine it would be very difficult.

I finaly installed mine (at last a nice day!!!)
it came out really good and I'm SOOOOO glad I got the HKS over some of the other brands 'cause it's friggin cool as all hell.
anyway I also wrote a HOW TO for the HKS install because there isn't much help on the web for this timer in a wrx.
