well after one month....
my rally armor mud flaps have already started to give out on me.. just today i lost a mud flap when i was off road...
i was dissappointed how easily they gave out on me.. i had the rally armor basics and the plastic washers that they gave me just bent and the mud flap flew off somewhere.. but no big sadness after one month of use they had already started warping purdy badly.. so instead i will be making my own mud flaps!

Hello
This is Costas from Rallyarmor. We received both your emails about 5 minutes ago and have responded to both.
It is unfortunate we were not afforded the opportunity to respond before your post, but it is not possible to address / track any issues from forum posts, when we are not contacted directly.
The hardware is exceptionally strong and the plastic washers are specifically oversized to keep the mud flap intact with the vehicle, and hold up incredibly well against a variety of conditions year after year, as many users can attest to.
Forester example:

As a safety feature- should the mud flap get lodged against an object
(which is the only way this would pull your flap to the point of removal), it is specifically geared to give at that point to protect your bumper from damage (ripping off etc...).
Replacing a washer is always more cost effective than repairing a bumper and so forth in a mishap.
If possible - please give us a call during business hours tomorrow in order to best assist you.
Please note, direct contact to us first is always the best route as it is allows us to be able to effectively track/log/follow up on any requests brought to our attention.
That said- you may need to consider a different type of flap for what you are doing with your vehicle as the basics are a street/DIY alternative
In order to clarify the differences in the variety of mud flap options we have
Basic series
If you are budgeting for DIY type flaps, our Basic series was created for this very purpose. Most generic auto part stores sell pairs for around $20 USD (actually $24.99 as a quick trip recently confirmed:

.
Which averages around $40-$50 USD for a complete set.
Our basics fall into the same price category ($45) with significantly better product characteristics.
To begin- the "Basics" are the same thickness as the thinner generic type "cut to fit" pairs that are available.
One of the first characteristics addressed was the flexibility of the material itself. Although thin, the generic flaps had a tendency when folded, to remain in this position indefinitely (generic shown) at room temps:

We have incorporated a flexing agent within the Basics that resists this better.
Another point we addressed was the finish. The generics come with a dull/ smooth finish which is extremely scratch prone. In comparision to our Classics, simply handling the material (out of the package) on a work table created a variety of marks:

We address this by incorporating a cleaner automotive type grain finish which assists in resisting scratches -"Basics" shown on a vehicle below:

Another point addressed is the mounting. Generic flaps include self tapping screws that a user simply drills into their vehicle.
This is not an ideal option for many owners and we always try to avoid or minimize this whenever possible. Our basic series mudflaps feature our current stainless/plastic mounting hardware that eliminates the need for this at a fraction of the cost of what it would take to individually purchase similar setups without drilling)
The flaps are bolted on to the vehicle using the easy to follow instructions and video found here
The generic flaps also require cutting- this is eliminated, the flaps are completely designed with your Subaru in mind.
This option is not only lower in cost than an alternative, but saves you a great amount of time, (which is equally important)
So if you are budgeting for a DIY style setup, we can suggest our basics as a choice for you.
Classic Series:
Our Classic series is our original rally mud flap in production for over half a decade. We are currently on Ver. 4.
Significantly thicker than many generic applications available:

and available in an automotive trim style finish, with a stamped logo in various colors,

this makes a great setup for street vehicles. A wider rally mud flap, but something not excessively huge beyond its intended functionality, great looks, excellent coverage and protection:

Our UR series
For our motorsports customers we usually create flaps based on their individual requirements, such as our UR (motorsport version) series:

Which is essentially our UR setup only in a street flavor:

Our UR series was originally our UR "Limited" series, but we have now introduced it as a full production model simply known as the "UR" ('you-are')
Crafted from premium urethane, it is one of the most temperature/ extreme condition resistant mud flap material of choice (hence is widely adopted use in motorsports applications). This setup is especially suited for colder conditions.
Another important characteristic is its flexibility factor

Lowered vehicles can take advantage of this type of flap because of its great strength/rigidity, yet great flexibility when needed.
If you are offroading regularly this would be your ideal choice
thanks much
