wattage question
i have an 04 wrx and im looking to get an HID kit (possibly a whole new set of headlights) and i need to figure out what wattage i needed....plus any opinions on 6000k or 8000k? im looking for a solid white (similar to the sti hids)

It all comes down to personal preference. 55w bulbs will be brighter than 35w bulbs just like a 100w bulb in your lights at home would be brighter than a 60w bulb.
As far as bulb color goes, if you are looking for solid white I would suggest going with 5000k as 6000k would be on the verge of blue and 8000k would be blue.

thanks jourdan does it mess with any electrical going using more wattage? im tryin to head out to wingstop in a couple weeks you still heading out there?

The existing wiring should be alright. Higher wattage would require more current and thus thicker wires, but the stock wiring harness can facilitate 55w bulbs just fine.
And the Curtner Wing Stop is still kicking, always a pretty good turnout.
