Wanted: Stock CD Player '99 Legacy GT

Hi All,

I am looking to buy a Subaru stock CD player. This is for my '99 Legacy GT Wagon. My son jammed something into the CD player rendering it useless. I need a replacement.

I was thinking of replacing the whole thing with an aftermarket head unit but I thought I'd give the I-Club a try first. If I can keep the stock unit, it would be less of a hassle, not having to tear everything out and finding a cubbie hole/pocket to fill in the second DIN slot. So, if you have one in good shape and willing to sell it, I'm interested!

I have a fully functioning and cosmetically perfect SVX stock cassette player from my '95 SVX if anyone is interested in some kind of trade.

Have stock legacy cd changer

I have a 6 disc in dash changer i'm looking to get rid of. Haven't really tried at all as of yet, because i haven't found a cubbie pocket either... but I am trying to get rid of it. It was in a 2002 Leg GT, and my friend traded it to me, and it fit in my 95 Leg LS. It's the premium audio system. Sounds very nice.

Also, if anyone is looking, I have a stock tape deck from a 95 legacy.

I have the CD player portion from a 98 legacy GT. If you think you can use it to replace the one your son had 'fed' something too then I'll find it and give you the exact S/N # just to make sure that the connections will work.

I really don't want much for the unit, just a few dollars perhaps for the trouble.

CD Player

I have a cd player from a 99 legacy gt limited. It is in perfect working order...all you would have to do is plug in the wireing harness. It has a cd player, cassette, AM/FM, and also another cool feature that i havent seen too often, Weatherband. If your interesed please email me at Bensp@localnet.com.

Try eBay if there's nothing here that satisfies you. Personally, I've gone the stock replacement route..and been dissappointed. Nothing compares to aftermarket for sound. If you have a crimper and some butt-connectors ($3 at Crutchfield), the job won't take long at all to do yourself.
