Wagon owners...the rolling cover in rear

Hey, i bought the car used, and it looks like one of the tabs is broken for that thing that rolls out and covers what's in the trunk. i didn't get the thing that rolls out either, i'm sorry that i can't come up with a better word for it, but i'm sure you guys out there know what i'm talking about.

does anyone know where i can get one of those trunk area cover things? i really apologize for my vocabulary (or lack there of), but this is important as the exhaust note is really starting to invade the cabin.

Well, the main place I normally buy factory parts from doesn't sell the cargo cover (www.subaruwrxparts.com). I would first check a local junkyard to see if they have a Subaru wagon with the cover. Then, your only shot is the dealer. The cargo cover and trim piece shouldn't be too much money, but it probably won't be real cheap

Sometimes you can find them on e-bay: do a search for either Impreza Wagon or WRX wagon.

The times I have seen them in there, they have either been called privacy screen (or cover) or Tonneau cover (not 100% on the spelling)

Tried loooking in the options section of Subaru.com....but do dice...sorry

The thing that rolls out is indeed called tonneau cover and it's actually suprisingly expensive...(http://www.subaruparts.com/diag/?mod...category=657-1).
If I'm not mistaken the tab that holds the cover is called 'cover stay' and the P/N is 94053AB for the left one (http://www.subaruparts.com/diag/?mod...category=940-1).
The parts search feature in Subaruparts.com is very nice!

Although, btw, this cover isn't going to do much of anything for you in the way of blocking out exhaust noise.

Are you sure it's not just put away in it's compartment in the floor just behind the rear seat?
