Vinyl Decals?
Vinyl Decals?
Tell me what you guys think about this. I'm thinking of getting a strip of decals down the side of my door, in preparation for a show next month. It's just a list of company names that I have parts from, I'm thinking of making it a gunmetal color so it will match the wheels and not stick out too much. Opinions?

Whatever floats your boat. For a show i'd says it's "ok" but i'd never add decals unless they were my actual sponsers. for everyday street driving i think it's gay though. why don't you just hand the cops a printed list of mods when they pull you over?

Becuse some mods are illegale da.... and cops dont have anything better to do (so what if right next to you when you get pulld by the cops someone gets murderd you have a loud pipe! thats a nono!)
BTW i like the decels i like rice anyhow looks very nice only thing is i would put STI the first from above (looking at that i get flashbacks of the nissan skyline from 2 fast 2 furios).

Yeah, I don't need the extra attention from the cops since my cars a wee bit illegal. I'm leaning towards doing them for the show then taking them off afterwards. A member on another forum pointed out that if there are reps at the show and the see I'm sporting decals for their products they might be more inclined to give me some hookups. That's a long shot but I like the possibilty. By the way this is going to be for the Import Life show in Columbus, OH.

On the sides are nice. Don't let them go down to the sideskirts though, since that looks kinda funky. I don't really like the other ideas (hood and rear window).
Another option is to have them cascading at 45 degrees down the front windshield on the passenger side a la D1 Grand Prix car style.

Dude, it is your car put them on if you want. Most show cars and cars in mags have'em. You never know when somebody big is going to be at a car show and say:"Holy smack!" and volia they want to use your car their advertisement. I'm going with vinyl graphics and lettering from certain companies that my brother-in-law has a source for at his restyling shop.
