Veilside bumpers on a 98 L impreza
Has anyone put a veilside body kit onto a Impreza L model? I know the size of the vehicle is the same as an RS. But the bumper beams are different. Has anyone used this combo before? If so can you please shed some insight for me. My kit arrives on wed. and I wish to fit it myself. Thanks!

You will need to use JDM bumper beam and it will work good. Also, there is s light difference in 2 door and 4 door sideskirts. I think VS was made for 4 door and I am not sure how many doors you got.
pain in the *** to hack up stock beam!!!!!!!
i bought a do-luck kit for my 94L and i decided to chop my beam.
worked!
but after many hours of hammering, cutting, and getting pist i wish i would have bought a light weigth bumper beam.
if you are a poor college student like me make sure you have time, a cutoff tool. air or electric, perferable atleast a 3inch(Hacksaw will not work!!!!!) and buy many disks. i ended up using a 4inch by 1/4" cutoff wheel. Also you have to cut back beam for rear bumper too.
but a light weigth beam you can find them on a few websites. dont know any off of the top of my head but they are not more than 150 bucks.
good luck man!!
