Trunk holes cover
Im trying to go wingless and was considering plugging up the holes.. Anyone have any pictures and can lead me in a way to find plugs?
If anything I'll just go to OSH or hd and find some plugs.
Thanks!

^I really don't think stickers would look good or hold up.
Iv'e seen a few people use these black rubber plugs that can be had at any local hardware store. measure the holes and find the plug that fits good.
I know GMC uses them on the under body of the trucks to plug certain holes.
Let me see if i can get my brother in law to snap a pic and send it to me.

Saw some dude put button head screws and paint match them to the trunk in WRB. It didn't look good IMO.
I actually just thought about one that might work. Anyone know how thick the sheet metal is there and what size the holes are?

A friend of mine with an 06 GTO has his wing removed and there are these small plastic/rubber plugs in the holes paint matched to the car and its not bad looking but once you get up close its not the best looking because who wants to see little raised bumps where the holes were? Dont get me wrong though, its not bad looking and its deffenetly something worth considering if you were to want to return the car to stock and remount the wing. For a car like mine, 06 STi, doing this would leave me with MANY holes to plug not just 4 like my friend. 4 plugged holes might be easier visually to deal with than 10+ for most.
Did a quick google search, found lots of posts on many different forums telling how to do this. here is a link to one from nasioc..

Super delayed but I found some pieces at a local auto store. On the wrx trunk it is easy to plug up the 4 holes, the one with the wiring is like 3/8 and a bit more tricky. For that I had to do a little custom fitting.

Find another trunk. All other options present too much complications/uncertainty...if plugged will they leak? Bondo and paint is not too cheap, and you can't get any money back from either of those options...just saying

But for a temporary solution there are lots of options. I personally would get freaked out if I had to look at miscolored plugs back there.
