Taking paint off FMIC?

I have an MRT front mount, and the front of the intercooler has MRT in bright red letters, which I think attracts unwanted attention from the cops. So I'm wondering if there's a safe way to remove the red lettering. What chemicals do you guys suggest? Thanks.

Dude Bay area cops have bigger fish to fry than worry about your FMIC!!! I run a straight pipe every once in a while for kicks and pulled up next to a cop at an AMPM and he didnt even look or take any kind of notice. Basically if you got a scooby you got the advantage over other import drivers. Cops seem to dislike Hondas and Acuras with crazy kits. I have even been pulled over making an Illegal U turn in Emeryville and the cop let me off cuz he said he loves Subarus and owns a WRX wagon. Lighten up!!! Dont ruin the look af a great product for something that hasnt even happened yet....

Black FMIC are awesome for sleeper looks.. Other than that, I guess a Mesh grill would work..

How can u drive a scoob and still think u can consider it anything close to a sleeper car??? Most knuckleheads know what a WRX is even if theyve never heard of Subaru. My SR20 powered EDM Nissan Primera GT is a sleeper. A scoob has too much reputation to be put in that category. Be proud that you have a street legal out of the box rally car. You're not gna fool anybody!Ill put everything on the fact that you wont get any heat from the fuzz. For all they know it could be a radiator in front there!!!
