Sorry if i'm hijacking this post for a second, but you guys seems very knowledgable in this area. Just bought an Omori boost gauge to replace the stock one (45mm) - will i be able to just swap out one gauge for the other, or do i have to run all of the wires again and do a full installation?
Thanx

Your question was just different enough from the other thread to warrant its own thread.
I don't have an Omori but mechanical boost gauges use pretty much the same connections - a length of vacuum hose that plumbs into existing factory lines for vacuum/boost measurement and the wire for lighting the gauge. Be sure to get the polarity right when wiring the lighting (RT*M) - the color of the wire leads that are supplied with the Omori may or may not be the same as the factory gauge.

The Omori gauges wire in with no problems into the stock wires. The only difference is the stock power wire is yellow, the Omori is white. Check this tutorial out, it will tell you EVERYTHING you need to know about this install. Very helpful: http://j-spectuning.com/45mm_column.pdf
