If you paint your stock side skirts they will peal or flake. that is why body shops wont paint them BUT their is something called "BULL DOG" its a primer that makes it posible to paint this hard plastic but it is way way to expensive to use. " i own a body shop in Michigan if someone would ask me now that i have painted mine with bull dog and have had no problems for year and half i would tell them to get aftermarket ones becouse the primer alone is like $200 then paint labor ............
