Thumbs up STI Wiper Wing!

I finally found the STI blade with the wind defelector and threw it on my car. Why? I found out the hard way that @ serious speed in the rain the driver's wiper blade starts stuttering and shaking (not unlike the STI rear spoiler @ triple digits). It at times was not even touching the windshield at the top of the arc!

It may be that my OEM hood deflector is causing the skip @ speed... but this solved it.

Part #86542FE100

We (my parts guy & I) had to punch in a Vin # for an STI for the parts list on the computer to spit out the right part #. It was listed as a 'wiper blade wing'.

Lightbulb A brief and bad poem.

I drive a lot in rain...
it rains a lot here.
I drive fast a lot...
therefore when I drive fast,
it is sometimes in the rain...

Did I mention it rains a lot in Oregon?

...and that they do not have enough troopers to effectively patrol all the minor highways?

I drive fast a lot!
In the rain.

Is that what those things are for? I've always wondered that.

Yup. As I said the root of my problem might be the OEM front bug shield... but it works so well keeping my windshield free of the summer bugs of summer, I wanted to leave it on!

But the stutter and lift is fixed, as proved by a thunder shower today (coming back from the Williamson after fly fishing) back into Medford for the drags... big speed, small flutter. Fixed.
