sti wing fit onto a wrx?
wish you were around here. i believe the holes are slightly different.
ends up being easier to swap trunks and torision bars with another subaru (most are universal 02-07).
less of a headache and plenty to choose from.

Short answer: no.
STI big wing utilizes around 15 holes (14 mounting and 1 for the brake light wire) to mount it to the trunk. You also need different torsion bar springs as well.
The standard WRX wing uses 5 holes (4 mounting and 1 for the brake light wire) to mount it to the trunk.
The STI LTD wing uses 5 holes (4 bolts and one centering pin) to mount it to the trunk -- this is not the same as the standard WRX wing. It uses the stock wingless trunk torsion bar springs. If you go from a wing to wingless, then you need the 3rd brake light (included with the STI LTD wing as a kit) that mounts inside the car. You also have to cut the rear cover or get a new one with the cut out for the 3rd brake light.
If you go from a wingless to a wing, you have to reroute the 3rd brake light wire to make the winged brake lamp work. Or you could leave it alone and keep on using the lamp that's inside the car and not have the one on the STI or WRX wing light up.
Your choice.
Good luck and Happy Motoring!

Good luck........
The trunk lid is the same for the 2002-2007 models of Impreza -- they never changed this part of the car.
But, this still means that you would have to drill holes and/or seal shut other holes to make a different wing work (i.e. going from a WRX wing to an STI big wing).
Hope this helps.
Otherwise, do a trunk lid and torsion spring swap.
Good luck and as always, Happy Motoring!
