STI trunk (lid and wing fits WRX)?

STI trunk?

Would a 04 Sti trunk fit on a 04 wrx? i like the wing and wanna put it on my wrx but i hate to drill holes.

I pretty sure the body panels are the same. except front valence, and maybe rear valence. should not affect the trunk though. Instead, keep your trunk and put an sti under it! HaHa!

It should fit just fine. I heard of many instances where people have switched, even from an 02/03 wrx to an 04 sti.

Car Info: 1998 Subaru Legacy L 5-speed

all 02 and newer trunks are the same, the only difference being spoiler/sti spoiler/no spoiler so swap away

hey i like wrx1404's idea. keep the trunk put but an sti under it.

You need the STI's stronger torsion bars if you want that wing on your WRX, yours aren't strong enough to support it. And any STi owner who trades you their wing will also need your rear third tail light.

would you get a ticket for that spoiler on a wrx?
i heard someone say its ok since its factory, but then i heard someone else say its not ok since its not made for the wrx specifcally.
