I just bought a JDM STI steering wheel. I have been spending alot of time trying to figure out the best way to install this wheel into my 03RS. I found some hub adapters (HKB, SPLASH, etc) that will help me hook up the horn and disable the SRS airbag. By looking at pictures I don't like how it will make my steering wheel stick out too close. I came across a picture and I'm trying to figure out what the silver thing behind the wheel is? I'm thinking it could be a spacer but I'm not too sure.

I got it off ebay..it's from ver 3 or 4 STI.
