STI hood scoop question

Question STI hood scoop question
I'm planning on installing the STI hood scoop on my sedan and was wondering if I need to modify the seal for the IC? For those who have already installed the hood scoop any tips would be helpful.

I don't believe you need to modify the stuff under the scoop...you can keep those stock 'guts' underneath which seal to the IC...STi scoop should just fit where the stock one was...the bolt holes line up...
