I the past there was a topic on hood scope delete options and someone posted a picture of a piece that actually covered the hole,I want to get that piece for my STi hood. I did a search but was could not find it can someone assist.

when i get a fmic I am getting an rs hood

 

I did that in fact that's what I have on my car now. I had seen a picture of the delete piece and I wanted to look at it again. Just thought someone could point it out to me.

 

maybe you mean a reverse scoop.....check some of those out, i think prodrive makes one.

 

Hmmm... isn't the RS hood made of steel but the WRX/STi hood made of aluminum? Wouldn't the extra weight hurt performance (maybe minorly?).

I know AquaFSP also makes a reverse scoop...

 

I'm sure it doesn't help any know the weight on the 2 pieces STi and RS hood Just curious

 

wrx hood is about 18lbs while the rs about 25-30lbs
