STI gauge cluster fit non STI harness?

So i've been digging around and i haven't been able to find the answer to this and i was curious if anybody knew the answer to this. i have a 06 wagon.

cluster gauge from an sti will not fit a wrx or rs

an sti cluster will not fit in anything but an sti car or so to say..........clone.................

Huh....


Anyways.. 06-07 wrx is not a plug n play set up. You have a few wires to move and trim the plugs... I had a write up on nasioc on it.

I'd do a search on www.nasioc.com

..huh?

afaik, an 04 sti cluster will pnp into an 04 wrx. any sti cluster thereafter is pnp in 05+ wrx. someone correct me if i'm wrong.

as far as personal experience, i tried fitting an 05 sti cluster into my 04 wrx and had to trim a plug and rewire the harness to get the outside temp and abs to work. hope that helped.

06-07 wrx is not plug n play. 2002-2005 yes.

Still not plug n play. No STi clusters are plug n play. There is some work involed.
