STI Front Grill For The WRX

You need to tap a control source, so I tapped into the marker in our headlights (one tap on each headlight). I mounted the relays under the hood (2x) on the battery holddown. You connect the wiring to the positive for power and the negative to ground and...let there be light! You can see the relays and positive tap in the pic. Follow the blue wire cover and that is where I ran the wiring through the firewall.

nywrxtasy- thanks for the info! dang, very nicely done.
you mentioned that you tapped into the markers as a controlled source. does that mean that the fogs light up only when the markers are turned on? and it would auto shut off when you turn off your headlights?

kenchan- Yes, the way I wired them, they only light up when the markers are on (Turning the light stalk to the first click), but I don't need the headlights on. However, I can use either light in that mode. The instructions say they are to be wired in a way that they can only be use when the brights are used, lol, but that is nuts. They do go off if/when I turn the markers off, so I can't accidentally leave them on.
