sti carbon fiber side markers
I just recieved my carbon-fiber sti-replica side markers in the mail. They are some kind of thin, soft flexible plastic. They look nice, but seem like it wouldnt take much to mess 'em up. I was wondering if anyone with the real ones could let me know if they are also flexible plastic. Also, where might i get a good deal on the real ones.

there is definately nothing to break its just rubery plastic stuff....i was just dont want to put them on and then find I like the real ones better, especially because it is an adhesive and probably wont easily come off. Its bad enough I already got the clear markers and the bulb/socket already melted.

sti side markers
hey, just wondering how exactly do those work? i was thinking about getting me some. does your side lights still work fine, any problems of them melting?
i like to get me some that are just plain black, since my WRX is all black. or maybe get the clear ones and somehow paint them a semi gloss black?

i ended up putting on the sti replica's. looks great.
i took out the side marker lights and put the covers in its place. If you put the cover over the markers, you would not be able to see the lights anyways.
If you want to keep the lights, i suggest getting clear markers, but make sure the stock socket and bulb will fit into them, that way you wont have to worry about melting of the aftermarket socket/bulb (plus no wire splicing and a cleaner install). I had blue bulbs in mine and it looked awesome, but they melted.
