Car Info: TXS tbe, perrin goodies, v7 sti struts...bla bla bla lots of stuff!
Hardwired my Escort 8500...had the car ripped apart and the A-pillar...etc
I didn't like the little adaptor that came with it so I decided to do a little modding... The blank switches that are in the lower right hand side of the steering column... Needless to say it was a pain in the azz because the switch is FULL of plastic and I had to hollow it out in order to mount the insides of the LED activity lights and mute button in there... Here are some pics... plus one of my JDM red hazard...hahah :-)

And lastly my red jdm hazard button :-)
I am quite pleased with the install that I did considering it too my over 7 hours...lol
I am only pissed a little bit from the first picture because the one hole I drilled too large, but considering the space that I was working with and still being able to put the switch back into the hole and make it "click" so that it wouldn't fall out, I am quite pleased with the stealthyness of my install!
I might try and hollow out another switch if I run down to the dealer and buy one but for the time being I think it will do... And considering I didn't measure anything I just looked at it, said to myself why don't I put the guts from this switch inside the car's blank panel and see if it works... and then eye balled everything from there... not too shabby :-)
