Side Fog lights and steady lit blinkers???

Side Fog lights and steady lit blinkers???
Just a couple of questions I have thought about doing to my car and wanted some input on from you guys, yay or gay:
1) Turning the side corner lights into aux driving lights by using the stock housing but a custom front plastic mold for a, say a Hella 500series driving light.
2) Like on most of the 93+ Chevy Vette's how they have the steady running lights (orange) but act as a blinker when needed, I wanted to do this with the bumper blinkers and keep them steady when not used.
What do you guys think?? Any criticizm would be great as long as I don't get flamed for it!

Yeah, same idea, just with my bumper lights, I have a 96 impreza L. Did you end up posting a how-to that would guide me in the right direction for wiring??

Well, I don't wanna take up alot of your time. I would take a
how-to if you had it but since you don't, I'll just have my dad help me out since he used to be a mechanic and electrician. Thanks for the offer though! Any chance I could get your opinion on my 1) idea??

I’ve done your idea on my brother’s accord and on my old Integra the only thing you have to worry about once you get it to work is the heat from the bulb melting your lens...
what you want to do is make your marker stay on and also function as a blinker.. its easy really.. you need to find a dual filament socket that’s the right diameter as your stock lens (junk yards are you best bet) mod it a little to fit and wire it up... and wire up
you dad should be able to figure it out im sure...

i made the side marker on teh 03 stay on and blink whne the signal was on. the directions are on www.scoobymods.com
